Audiences throughout the U.S. have heard Bronx-born Ecuadorian and Puerto-Rican Mezzo-Soprano Linda Collazo at venues including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Her credits include being a young artist at Opera Orlando, Charlottesville Opera, Opera Naples, and the Aspen Music Festival. She has performed alongside Ken Burns and Sonia Manzano and for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor at the Bronx Children’s Museum. Linda won awards from the Gerda Lissner Foundation and the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. She has been featured on News12 The Bronx, CBS TV, and BronxNet TV for her work as a singer and teacher. She is an alumni of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and the CUNY Macaulay Honors College. Linda’s work as a music educator and performer led her to being named an honoree by the Bronx Borough President for Women’s History Month in 2025. She teaches both voice and piano.
