Kasym is a guitarist and instructor based in Brooklyn, originally from Kyrgyzstan. He plays and teaches across Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Soul, Funk, Blues, and Rock, and works both as a performer and educator. Over the years he’s performed at well-known New York venues like Smalls Jazz Club, Minton's Playhouse, Arthur's Tavern, and The Groove. He has also toured around the U.S., playing shows in roughly 30 states at clubs, festivals, and various live music events.
