I am a piano instructor with a strong background in classical music, theory, and analysis based in New York City. I am currently a Masters student at Mannes. My teaching combines solid technical training with a deeper understanding of how music is structured, so students learn not only how to play the notes, but also how to understand and express the music. My teaching style is patient, clear, and supportive. I focus on building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, reading, sound quality, and musical interpretation. I also enjoy helping students connect what they play at the keyboard with broader musical ideas such as harmony, form, phrasing, and style. I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, personality, and goals, whether they are beginners, returning students, or more advanced players looking to improve their musicianship. My goal is to help students become confident, thoughtful, and expressive pianists while developing a lasting appreciation for music.
