Sophia Shedd is a dynamic freelance harpist based in New York City, known for her versatility across concert, theater, and film settings. She has performed with ensembles including the Norwalk Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Waynesboro Symphony, and the Martha Graham Dance Company, and has played in theatrical productions such as The Baker's Wife (off-broadway) Sunday in the Park with George, Albert Herring, Cinderella, and Chronicle. Her work spans classical, contemporary, and collaborative genres, both as a soloist and ensemble player. In the film industry, Sophia serves as a harp coach, on-set music supervisor, hand double and recording artist.
