Leo Gurevich is a pianist, performer, and teacher based in New York City. Originally from Moscow, he grew up in a rigorous classical piano tradition and graduated from the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Institute of Music before continuing his studies at Bard College and Conservatory, where he studied Piano Performance and Theater & Performance. Leo has performed as a soloist and collaborative musician in concert halls and performance spaces in Russia, Europe, and the United States. His teaching combines strong classical training with a warm, flexible, and personal approach. He works with students of different ages and levels, helping them build technique, confidence, musical understanding, and healthy practice habits. Alongside his work as a pianist, Leo is also active in theater, composition, and interdisciplinary performance. This creative background shapes his lessons with patience, curiosity, humor, and attention to each student’s individual personality and goals.
