Hi, I'm Coby, and I'd love to be your tutor! I have tutored students as young as 12 and as old as 50, totaling more than 1,400 hours, and have two years of teachig experience as a calculus TA at Northwestern University, my alma mater. For me, math is rewarding because there are so many different ways to teach it, and the absolute best part of tutoring is the "a-ha!" moment for my students where it all finally clicks. My goal with any student is to help you build your own unique mental toolkit to solve problems, and I employ a variety of visual and interactive tools to keep the learning process fun and engaging. I am IXL-trained and certified to use their resources in sessions, and have also worked extensively with students with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and autism spectrum diagnoses.
