1. Overview

These Referral Program Terms govern the student "Give $20 / Get $20" referral program. They form part of the Terms. The Privacy Policy describes how referral data is handled.

Under the student program, an eligible Referrer and eligible Referee each receive a $20 iNSTAiNSTRU credit after the Referee completes a qualifying first lesson.

These Referral Terms do not govern separate instructor-referral cash bonuses or other referral promotions unless those promotions expressly incorporate these Referral Terms.

2. Eligibility

To participate, you must:

• have an active iNSTAiNSTRU account in good standing;
• reside where the program is legally permitted; and
• comply with the Terms and these Referral Terms.

A Referee must be new to the Platform, use the Referrer's unique link or code, and complete a first lesson of at least $80 within 30 days of attribution.

3. How the Program Works

Eligible Users may share their unique referral code or link with people they personally know.

When the Referee completes a qualifying first lesson, the Referrer and Referee each earn a $20 Platform credit.

Rewards are held for 7 days after the qualifying lesson is completed. If the qualifying lesson is canceled, refunded, disputed, reversed, or found fraudulent, the corresponding reward may be voided, revoked, or clawed back.

4. Reward Use

Referral Rewards are Platform credits. Credits:

• have no cash value and cannot be transferred;
• may only be redeemed on the Platform;
• may be limited to one credit per transaction; and
• may not be used toward taxes, tips, or other non-lesson amounts.

Referral credit can be applied to bookings of $80 or more and cannot be combined with platform credits on the same booking.

Referral credits are promotional credits, distinct from credits issued for canceled lessons under the Fees, Payments, and Cancellation Supplemental Terms. Referral credits may not be combined with other promotional offers unless stated.

Referral rewards are limited to $500 in credits per calendar year and 200 rewards per account in total.

5. Expiration and Forfeiture

Referral credits expire 90 days after they become available unless the Platform states a shorter period for a specific promotion.

Unused credits are forfeited when they expire or when an account is closed for fraud, abuse, violation of these Referral Terms, or misuse of the Program (as described in Section 7 below).

6. Verification and Limits

Referral Rewards are subject to verification and may be withheld, delayed, revoked, or adjusted for fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, household abuse, payment reversal, or technical error.

A User may not earn more than $500 in student referral credits per calendar year. iNSTAiNSTRU may keep unpublished abuse controls, including count limits, device, IP, email, payment, and account-similarity checks.

Referral links may not be distributed through coupon sites, paid ads, public forums, spam, or unlawful marketing.

7. Fair Use and Prohibited Conduct

Users may not abuse the Program. Specifically, Users may not:

• refer themselves or create multiple accounts;
• use bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate signups;
• mislead anyone about the Program;
• post referral links publicly or in ways that violate anti-spam or privacy laws; or
• attempt to obtain rewards from canceled, refunded, reversed, disputed, or fraudulent lessons.

Each Referrer is responsible for complying with laws that apply to referral communications they send.

When sharing your referral link, you should disclose that you may receive a reward if the person signs up.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PROGRAM AND PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. iNSTAiNSTRU DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT REFERRAL REWARDS WILL BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR ISSUED IN EVERY CASE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, iNSTAiNSTRU'S MAXIMUM LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED $100.

You agree to indemnify iNSTAiNSTRU for claims arising from your referral communications, participation in the Program, or violation of these Referral Terms.

10. Right to Cancel, Modify, or Terminate

iNSTAiNSTRU may cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or a User's participation prospectively at any time, including where fraud or abuse is suspected.
